This is NOT a Wag it Games focused seminar it relates to trainers working on just about everything from tricks to formal obedience to agility.
How about a day to refresh your training? Newer trainers and those that have trained for years can always use reminders and practice to fine tune our skills. The day will incorporate lots of hands on activities designed to focus on, refresh and remind us of the HOWS and WHYs of what we do.
Working Participants must understand and have experience with Mark and Reward Training AKA Clicker Training.
Dogs must be able to work comfortably in a room with other dogs and unlikely to be reactive or cause disruptions in the event setting. Dogs should be able to be crated and quiet when not working. If this is in question please contact Sumac
Auditors of all levels of experience welcome.
A few crates are available (first come first serve)
What to Bring
Notebook and pencil
Lots of small soft treats
Clicker (or verbal markers may be used)
Dogs should work on regular collar or harness and leash. No choke/prong collars or retractable leashes allowed.
